All of our Diesel machine is done by D.E.M.T. Performance Engines in Belgrade Montana. We’ll start at the top with the cylinder head(s):
Cummins 5.9/6.7and 6.0/6.4 Powerstroke cylinder heads get O-Ringed with higher grade valves, valve seats, valve guides, and seals replace 6.0/6.4 Power stroke with Duramax.

Cylinder Heads

Upon disassembly, all cylinder heads are cleaned, magnafluxed, and pressure tested. After which, the machining process begins with seats and guides replaced as necessary. Guides are fitted to specification and decks are cbn surfaced to 22-28 ra. The valve cutting ensues, a three angle cut is performed on the 4.0 Serdi valve machine and recessions are set within oem specs. Valves are checked for stem wear and refaced and the springs are checked for tension. At this time any extras needed (i.e. heli-coils, etc.)are noted. Heads are thoroughly washed and pre-assembly occurs. Stem heights are adjusted to specification and valves are installed with Clevite high pressure lube and new seals are fitted. Once heads are complete they are vacuum tested to ensure a tight seal. **High performance parts added results in craftsmanship warranty only.

Reman. Cylinder Engines

Upon disassembly, engine block is cleaned, magnafluxed and pressure tested. After which the cleaning process begins with cylinders bored and honed, deck block, check line bore, o-ring where applicable, inslall cam bearings and freeze plugs as necessary. Crankshaft is cleaned, inspected and magnafluxed, polished or reground. Connecting rods are cleaned, checked, reconditioned as necessary and pin bushings installed. Camshaft cleaned, inspected, poilshed and reground where necessary. Parts included are Mahle master kit, Mahle pin bushings & bearings, Hylift Johnson lifters where applicable. Cummins lifters are refaced. Melling oil pump as needed. Our standard reman. engines come with ARP rod bolts, ARP or IFG cylinder head studs, o-ring on 6.0 & 6.4 Powerstroke and 5.9 & 6.7 Cummins. **High performance parts added results in craftsmanship warranty only.
