Going where no wrench should go
All modern truck engines have an Electronic Control Module, or ECM, the primary function of which is to control the engine’s performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions; to safeguard the engine from abuse; to troubleshoot mechanical problems; and to monitor the operation of the vehicle. In the event of an engine light, or a breakdown, the ECM may also record data that are useful in determining what’s happening with your engine.
Extracting this data takes some pretty expensive computer equipment. You may have a code reader, but this is only a tenth of the total picture.
At Dooley’s we have the computer technology to not only tell you what’s wrong, but how to fix it.
From A/C units to axle ratios, tire size and speedometer alignment, to gas mileage and power boosts. We got it covered.
